Overview

Seasonal outbreaks are common. Influenza A and B cause most human illness. Can lead to complications like pneumonia in vulnerable groups.

Causes

  • Influenza virus (airborne droplets, contact)
  • Seasonal spread, especially winter

Symptoms

  • Sudden fever, chills
  • Body aches, sore throat

  • Runny nose

Caution
